ABOUT: Pura Vida means “simple or pure life”, but in Costa Rica, it is more than just a saying it is a way of life! Costa Rica is the only nation in the world that has an executive order that bans the growth and production of any variety of coffee other than Arabica. These coffee beans are grown in a pristine valley named Tarrazú, the 5th canton in the province of San José, surrounded by mountains in southern Costa Rica. Grown at altitudes around 4500 feet in an ideal climate with two well-defined seasons: a rainy season from May to November and a dry season from December to April with Temperature varying between 57 F-79 F.
DESCRIPTION: Open a bag of our carefully roasted Tarrazu beans and your senses will likely be greeted with a pleasing aroma of aged wood and dark chocolate. Once brewed enjoy a full-bodied cup, well-balanced flavor and subtle chocolate after taste.
